Azure Moon Spark is a small workshop, and we treat your information the way we'd want our own treated — carefully, and with no appetite for collecting more than we need. This page explains, in plain terms, what we gather when you visit or write to us, why we hold it, and the choices you have over it.

1. What we collect and how

  • Information you give us directly: your name, email address, and the contents of any message when you use the contact form.
  • Information collected automatically: basic technical details such as browser type, approximate region, and pages viewed, gathered through cookies and analytics only where you've allowed it.
  • Information from a commission: any details you share to shape a piece — sizing, preferences, occasion — kept only for the life of that conversation and the work itself.
  • Legal basis: we rely on your consent for optional cookies and on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running the workshop.
  • Retention: enquiry correspondence is kept while it remains useful and then cleared; analytics data is held only for as long as the relevant cookie permits.

2. How your information is used

  • To reply to your messages and carry an enquiry or commission through to completion.
  • To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so it can be made clearer and more reliable.
  • We do not send marketing messages unless you have specifically asked to receive them, and you can stop at any time.
  • We do not sell your data. Limited sharing happens only with the service providers that help the site function — for example, analytics — and only within the bounds set by your cookie choices.

3. How your information is protected

  • Connections to the site are encrypted in transit using current standards.
  • Access to enquiry correspondence is limited to those who need it to respond to you.
  • Stored information is kept to the minimum required and reviewed periodically so that nothing lingers without reason.
  • In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting your information, we will act promptly and notify those affected where we are required to do so.

4. Your rights and how to use them

  • Access: you may ask what information of yours we hold.
  • Rectification and erasure: you may ask us to correct anything inaccurate or delete what we hold.
  • Portability: where it applies, you may ask for a copy of your data in a usable format.
  • Objection: you may object to particular uses of your information, including any processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Withdrawing consent: where you've given consent, you may take it back at any time without affecting what came before.

To act on any of these, reach out through our Contact page and we'll handle the request promptly.

Your Rights and Opt-Out Instructions
